Rudi and Mariette Korda
Rudi and Mariette Korda are missionaries in Tanzania (Rudi originally came from
the Brakpan Assembly). They have been working under the umbrella of the
Pentecostal Assembly of God in Tanzania (PAG).
On invitation, Rudi and Mariette teach and preach the Word of God in different
denominations in order to serve and equip the saints in the body of Christ
(Ephesians 4:12). Their calling has been more specifically to the lost in the
house of the Lord (Matthew 10:5-13). Rudi visits Christians and unbelievers -
Indian, Arab and Tanzanian alike; while Cherise in particular and Mariette have
been ministering to poor, unwanted ladies - Hindu, Goha and Tanzanian.
At times Rudi joins in preaching at evangelistic crusades. Mariette has been
compiling some teaching material to use in seminars and more specifically in
Family Life Seminars. They are trusting to conduct Family Life Seminars more
independently from church buildings in future. With their children, Rudi and
Mariette have also sought to support other mission organizations on a short
term basis, when they have had a need for practical assistance.
Open Doors
Open Doors provides Bibles, Christian literature, training and practical support
to the Persecuted Church worldwide. They are the world's largest outreach to
persecuted Christians, working in the most high-risk places on earth.
WEC International
WEC International reaches out to people who have limited or no access to the
good news of Jesus Christ, particularly where there is no church. They work in
multicultural teams to plant multiplying churches among these people. WEC has
around 1,840 workers from 50 countries serving in multicultural teams among
nearly 100 unreached peoples.
Mike and Christine Oosthuizen are WEC missionaries we support. They are
currently in the UK and originally came from the Brakpan Assembly.
Judea Harvest
The Judea Harvest outreach project is not only one of the biggest Christian
outreaches in Southern Africa. It is a project that transforms communities
applying a holistic ministry approach, implemented with the 1000 tents that
have been deployed in the past 6 years!
Judea Harvest was founded in April 1999 as an evangelistic movement to reach
people in the informal settlements as well as rural areas with the gospel.
Rainbows of Hope
Millions of children in crisis are suffering pain and trauma as a result of
events beyond their control: war, abusive home situations, poverty,
abandonment, HIV/AIDS, sexual exploitation, being forced to live on
danger-filled city streets, working long, hard days in sweatshops or simply
being a girl-child.
It is not God's desire that children should be so victimized. Rather, God
intended the gift of childhood to be a special time for children: a brief
period in their lives when they could be free of adult-sized responsibilities
and problems. With this freedom, childhood could be focused on nurturing the
children's God-given gifts and abilities.
Rainbows of Hope is a ministry of WEC International to children in crisis
throughout the world, promising them hope in Jesus Christ through His Word and
the holistic service of His Church.
Global Evangelism Mission
The Global Evangelism Mission (GEM) is reaching out to the world with the gospel
of Jesus Christ, for the salvation of mankind and the Edification of the Body
of Christ.
The SA Prayer Embassy
The mission of the SA Prayer Embassy is to fulfill 1 Tim 2:1-6, by praying for
the President and for all those who are in authority, so that we in South
Africa may lead quiet and peaceable lives.
To this end, strategic places are visited each week, namely the Union
Buildings, the Constitutional Court, the Israeli Embassy, the Reserve Bank, the
A.N.C. Headquarters, Department of Agriculture and Land Affairs, the S.A.B.C.,
Police stations, schools and universities, the O.R. Tambo Airport as well as
the Provincial Legislature. Indeed, this is a cutting-edge ministry, at a very
critical time in our nation.
Potters Hand Christian Fellowship & Euroseed
Kyle and Sharlene Maritz serve as missionaries in Europe in relationship with
the Assemblies of God Fellowship (AGF). They served for 8 years in France; and
for the past 10 years in the UK where they have planted 2 organic fellowships
under the name of 'Potters hand Christian Fellowship.' One meets in their home
in Southampton and the other in a home in Chandlers Ford.
They also have a ministry called 'Euroseed' of which the vision is to intercede
and utilize spiritual gifts in European countries such as France, Spain, and
Italy - with the final intention of seeing new churches planted, as well as
meeting practical community needs.
Kyle also travels to countries such as Ghana and Russia where he teaches in
Bible training centres and ministers in churches and at conferences.
